Bump.
I don't think anyone has posted this yet. A teaser trailer has been posted at the Apple trailer site.
Looks acceptable but a few of the effects might be cheesy.
My previous comment stands. Watchmen is not an easy movie to make, and Snyder is 0 for 1 when it comes to comic book adaptations as far as I'm concerned.

I appreciate the fact that they've tried to recreate the visual style of the book, but the book is a comic, and what makes it revolutionary is the way it responds to previous comics. I don't think making the movie 1:1 with the comic really serves the art of it, as a movie.
Yeah, they had to cut it from the movie because it was getting too long. And Gerard Butler is playing the dude in The Black Freighter, only since it's animated I guess he's only doing the voice.

It really should be a 4 hour movie.
The "Black Freighter" DVD will include a documentary-style film called "Under the Hood" that delves into the characters' backstories. The Watchmen movie is expected to hit DVD itself four months later, followed by an "ultimate" edition in which the two are edited together into one megamovie.
Hell yea, as I wished for! Gonna be more than 4hours I bet.

I'm looking forward to this. The source material is good, the trailer looked good, and I liked 300 and think the style will fit well with Watchmen. Should be pretty epic win.

Moar character shots. I think they're pretty spot on for the most part, if a little batmanny.

I hope it works.
