<div class="IPBDescription">for skulk and lerk</div>So I was wondering about improving skulk movement and giving an additional, not very important for the game-play, ability for the Lerk. So here it goes!
The <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skulk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::skulk::" border="0" alt="skulk.gif" /> (EDIT: DON'T WASTE TIME READING IT ;p GO STRAIGHT TO THE LERK PART, WHY? READ POSTS BELOW <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />)
I was always strange to me that skulk could jump when being on the ground, but when jumping on a wall, it caused him simply to fall. How about allowing skulk to jump off a wall or the ceiling with the same force that he jumps on the ground? It wouldn't be anything overpowering in any terms, but it would allow a skulk to jump from a wall on a marine OR to the opposite wall, given that the hallway is not too wide and/or the ceiling is high, so a skulk can run up a bit on the east wall to jump into the middle/bottom of the west wall. It would simply look cooler, and might be harder to aim at, if a person well-trained with skulk could attack a marine in a hallway by jumping from one wall to another rather than simply running straight at him. More of an action that you would see on Alien series! Of course there is leap, but it's very loud and available only after the second hive is up.
The <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/lerk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::lerk::" border="0" alt="lerk.gif" />
Lerk is the closest relative of a wall-running skulk, right? So I believe that it wouldn't be so strange if Lerks would be still capable of hanging/grabbing a wall as bats do. Not moving on it, only being able to hang on it. It would be done by flying next to a wall/ceiling and pressing crouch. Lerk then would use his claws to hold the adjacent wall/ceiling until he press space to flap his wings and fly away.
It would give a lerk the element of surprise in some situations, especially when combined with cloak.
Any suggestions?

lol! yea, you got me here, I haven't played for a year or so. I started to play a bit recently but at Uni I've got rather retarded playing equipment (laptop is not that bad but I need a new mouse definitely) I have read in one of the updates that reload acts as +movement for aliens, but I don't remember reading about the walljump <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/nerd-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::nerdy::" border="0" alt="nerd-fix.gif" /> I was soo convinced that there is no walljump that I simply haven't used it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
Sorry guys! I even remember searching the forums for "wall jump", but haven't tried "walljump" (embarrassed). It's hard to keep up to date after all this time, but I will, I promise <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
Is the second one (lerk thing) implemented too? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
