Winamp Control Untility

I used to use HLamp a long time ago to control winamp while i play HL mods. I have been looking for it but the website is down and i cant find a link to download the latest version (1.30) of it anywhere.

just wondering if anyone knew somewhere to find it, or if they had another alternative.

    I'd be really, really careful of HLAmp.

    When STEAM was first released, it was widely rumored that HLAmp was picked up as a cheat and got you instantly banned. That could be why you can't find it...

    and every version you CAN find of hlamp was released and designed to work with the HL directory structure of pre-STEAM half-life.

    i was just wondering if there is ANYTHING out there i can use?? its annoying to alt+tab out of steam to mess with winamp.

    A rudimentary method is to get a keyboard with Play/Pause, Stop, Previous and Next buttons, and turn on Winamp's global hotkeys. That's what I do.

    I usually just turn on WinAMP's global hotkeys and set up key combinations that I'll never hit in-game. Shift-insert/delete/home/end/pgup/pgdn seem to work quite well for a majority of games.

    Same here. I use ctrl-alt pgup/pgdown/home/end.

    i already use a logitech g15 keyboard with the LCD and basic controls on it

    the problem is that i have over 6000 songs, and there is no way to navigate through the songs. all i can do is press next/back. to get to a specific song i want to hear, or even to hear a specifc artist/album would require me to press the next button for quite a while. so the keyboard doesnt really help me that much.

    and playing in windowed mode is a horrible idea.
