I've never even picked up a guitar but a friend of mine insists it's not too difficult to learn, just requires practice.
And he's offered tutorials / to share his wisdom and skills when he's in the area.
So, thoughts and opinions anyone?
Thanks.

just that it's item # 120207266601 on <a href="http://www.ebay.co.uk/" target="_blank">http://www.ebay.co.uk/</a>
for those of you like me who are getting page errors.
Difficulty of learning will really depend on you, how flexible and strong your fingers are (which can be worked on) and how much practice and effort you're willing to put in, but in general I don't find guitar a very difficult instrument to learn the basics for. Once you actually learn how to play, you can worry about how to achieve specific types of sounds and playing style.
