I havn't played NS in abour 3 years due to not having a computer and then real life stepped in. NS was and is the best game I have ever played. I havn't been back on NS yet. How many people are still playing? Or more important will will NS:source be out?
If anyone remembers me let me know. I would like to talk to some of the old schoolers I use to play with. I was in NS:Guides when it first started and I host Battle for the Galaxy for 1 season before I had to leave.
I cant wait to get back on NS!!!

3-5 populated Classic servers (16-30 players)
5+ populated Combat servers (maybe 1 vanilla and the rest extralevels)
1-4 populated Siege/Custom/Funmap servers
I'd estimate that on an average evening or weekend there's 100-250 Euros playing Natural Selection.
Speaking strictly from the perspective of Non-bot below 100 ping servers
Anyway, on the east coast there are 3-4 Classic servers and maybe 4 more servers that mix co and classic. There are a few custom/siege map servers and probably 15 combat no-bot servers. Very few classic servers are unmodded. TG is the only one I can think of that doesn't have gorgehook.
There are probably 25 below a hundred ping classic/combat bot servers with varying levels of human activity. Fair warning, it will be tough to get back in. The people still playing are pretty much diehards that have been playing for years.

Lack of dev support - Website was down for a long time, infrequent game updates
World of Warcraft - And other new games that are worse than drugs
Time - Players naturally moved to other games as they got bored
lol i finally decided to make a ns fourm account after 4 years hehe <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/nerd-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::nerdy::" border="0" alt="nerd-fix.gif" />
Glad to see the scene is still running!
Nice to see teamplay is still taking place lol. Players are still awesome online which is what made me love this game so much. I used to log onto a server and everyone works together so well making the game so much more fun.

Where are you playing?
I just got pulled into a scrim after like 3 months of not playing. Damn is it still addicting.
Just random servers that have a decent amount of players on.
I can't think of any names but I have some favourited now.
I'm on the West Coast.
I'll PM you my gamertag if you want to play sometime but I won't be on too much the next few weeks because of exams.
