I've been in : Hostile takeover [HTO] (originally [F3n|x] from dogpound gamers CS1.5 team) you might know some HTO'ers. Diskord (system at the time) and Cole especially.
random places and sightings, friends gained and friends forgotten Ended in SCHamptons after a season of tournament.
Quit the game when the end of tournaments ended up being upper echelon teams jumping down as their original clans dissolved and ruining the competition combined with the community servers being shut down.

Been around since 1 week after the game was out (ignore the forum sign-up date, as you can see I'm not big on posting). Used to go by THE-RANGER (and a few other names) and played on the :3am: server daily, till it went down @ 2.0. But, still here and still donating to the cause.
lol I just came installed NS after a huge break. I don't have a clue what version I started playing at but it was when there was only one game type. It was definitely a long time ago. I think I read about NS in some Penny Arcade comic or on a forum.
I remember being so addicted to it that during a new years party I started to play NS, then people online started saying happy new years and I noticed my watch said 11:58. So I typed AFK, ran upstairs, shook hands and came back on to finish the map. I just remember a ton of heavy armor, HMGs and some of the nicest people online that night.
Good to be back...if I didn't have exams for the next 2 weeks.
It's been a while. Interest started feigning after I let Clanfission fizzle and then I lost my HL1 CD. I was kind of disappointed by CF that I eventually lost all interest in NS and gaming in general and had stopped for nearly two years. I've since started gaming again, and had decided to check in on NS and see how Charlie and gang were holding up. I still don't have a copy of HL1, so I'll just patiently wait for NS2.
And I was at the first (and second) Halloween parties <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
Bring back the Hamtons and my vet icon imo.... who is still alive? Anni, Meb, remiCs?...I hope everyone didn't go over to warcraft...like I did the past few years =/

LOL the hamptons! gg that irc channel was always the funniest, i remember hambone and all the others, LOL they had a cool website i remeber with flash, the intro or somehting was really bad ass .... does it still exist?
I was introducted to this game about 4 years ago at a LAN.. never looked back. I can also say this is my first post ever here though I've lurked for a long time.
Some of the oldest things I can think of were seeing Flay in game...frequently, retrying to get into the hamptons, the term "sYn rush" and gorgerush.divx (I know I'm not the only one who saw that video of sYn vs TE) I think it was te...damn its been awhile, I have it on my server at home.
Man, it's been a long time since I've played... Maybe a year or two. Anyway, I started playing in 1.03 around a week before 1.04 was released. Unfortunately I can't remember any of the server names I frequented (but I would know them if I heard the name).
I played as Sting14, and sometime during v2 I was in the IETK clan. I might re-install, but I don't have much free time as is. We'll see 8)

I played a bit for 1.02, and the first few days of 1.03. I went away for a while, and came back shortly after 1.04 era started. There was a period of time where I was godlike, either as a lerk or with a shotgun. This was pretty amazing, as my computer back then was from the late 90s. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":0" border="0" alt="wow.gif" /> That and I used a two button trackball with no scroll wheel. 2.0 sucked, horribly. After getting knifed as lerk for the third time in my second day of playing, I quit. Sometime in beta 2 or so of NS v3, I tried things out again and I was mostly happy with the changes (I would still prefer lerkbite, spike, umbra, primal scream though) so I went back to playing for a good number of months. I didn't play much in late 2006 though, and hardly at all in 2007, though I've been playing for a few hours each weekend for the past month or so.
