<div class="IPBDescription">Old School</div>Man, I just got back together with my wdf crew after 3 years of WoW and they told me about the NS rebuild for source. Hell, even before I started to play NS, I played this old game called Machines, it was an RTS but it allowed you to take control over any unit you created. I have YET to see another game created use that unique feature. I've always wanted them to re-release CnC Renegade but allow you to build up your base like you would in CnC then attack with your player! Natural selection is what I find to be the perfect game. It allows me to use my mind on speed in the RTS I know and love, and my really BAD ability to point and click < yes I fail.

You have no idea how excited I am for this game! My friends are going to host the 32 man custom map NS 2 server, just like the good old days.

Anyone who played in the whendarknessfalls or marks servers 4 years ago and reads this, Hi! From an old pain in the ass commander that never lost a game ^.^

I still think that NS is one of the top 10 games ever created!

I'm not sure about WDF or Marks, but did anyone ever play on Mayberrys? I think i spent an entire year solely on that server, playing a huge rotation of all customs maps. Trane08, Hydrosity, Cydonia... THOSE were some good days.

Right, I almost said Warzone 2100, but caught myself. It was a similar game though.

COD4 is freaking sweet. And Assassin's Creed, out in 2 days, looks to be stellar too.

Are you able to actually control the tanks? I thought that was only multiplayer.

Well, you cant do like Dungeon Keeper and possess individual units, but you can command vehicles to go places and do stuff from above as well as drive around and shoot stuff in a tank of your choice.
I think you can do it in singleplayer too. At least you could in BZ2.

top ten games of all time hey
    1 - system shock 2
2 - natural selection (heh its the multiplayer version of system shock when you think about it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink-fix.gif" /> )
    3 - half life 2
4 - Alien Solider on the Mega drive
5 - Bubble Bobble arcade version
    6 - Dawn of War w40k
    7 - crysis
    8 - quake 1
    9 - the specialsts mod for hl1
    10 - resident evil 4 - wii /ps2

EDIT - yeah i spose AVP should be in there too, (just read zim's post) it was great for its time, i hope some makes another aliens game, or atleast a predator mod for crysis <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />. I spent a lot of late nights with friends playing AVP on LAN. We used to make all of the marine players sticky tape the walk key (cause there was no always walk function or atleast we didnt know about it) and we'd have like 4 marines vs 1 alien player and turn all of the lights off. great times <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
