    Police state.

See, short statements work both ways.

Hindsight works both ways too. It's really easy to determine the best course of actions in a situation like this when you have time to sit and think about it. That goes not only for the security personnel, but for the student as well. "He shouldn't have been calling for help." VERY easy to say in hindsight.

A while back I reported this thread and ask it be locked for obvious reasons. Every moderator on this forum received notification of this report - that's just how it works.

One can only assume that it's the desire of staff here to leave this open until someone loses it and spouts off, finding himself on the receiving end of the bant stick. They'd rather lock topics for much more trivial reasons I'm sure.

However, let's not underestimate the influence lolfighter has on this community and on #ns. <img src="http://www.nsmod.org/forums/style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif" border="0" class="linked-image" />

    Puzl knows. They all know.

    That being said let's have some fun with this... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Just heard on the local news that the investigation by the UF Police AND the FDLE have determined that the use of the taser was justified in the Andrew Meyers case.

The state has yet to prosecute, but these findings will undoubtedly sway their decision.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->FDLE review of the University of Florida Police Department’s actions in the arrest of student Andrew Meyer (executive summary) (PDF; 301 KB)
Source: Florida Department of Law Enforcement (via University of Florida President Bernie Machen)
    From Machen’s comments:

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement forwarded late last week its review of the University of Florida Police Department’s actions in the arrest of student Andrew Meyer.

The report is more than 300 pages and includes many hours of taped interviews of witnesses. A full review of the document to remove information protected by privacy laws may take another week or more.

However, because I believe it is important for you to at least know the findings, we are releasing the report’s 17-page executive summary today. In short, the FDLE determined that our officers acted well within state guidelines.

The two officers, who were placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation, were reinstated by the University Police Department this morning and are back on normal duty. I have full confidence in the police department, which has a solid record and remains focused on keeping our campus safe.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

The 'report post' mechanism does not work, so this is the first I've heard of it. What I don't understand is why you have continued posting after you have stated that the topic should be locked.

Please keep your wacky conspiracies to yourself. Are you like, 15 years old or something?

I think nobody would find the idea of lolfighter having sway on the ns community more hilarious than lolfighter himself.
