Fixes: 1. October 25th 2006 Steam update A posting by a Steam forum moderator has pinpointed this issue to be rare at best, but prevailent nonetheless. An update to the GoldSrc engine (the underlying technology behind the Half-Life game) has apparently caused this issue. The suggested fix, is to lower the thread priority of hl.exe to "low". USB or serial, mouse name/type, is it in NS only or all HL games/types?
i had the mouse lag problem but i fixed it. heres how.
in start menu click on run, then in run type msconfig, then the system configuration utility will come up, click on the services tab, look for Ati HotKey Poller and untick that.
i have an ati video card. i dunno if this will work with the others.
