Alien Abilities.

Everyone say one ability you would like to see an alien use in NS2. Also have a description of what it does. You dont need to say what alien uses the ability.
Slippery Liquid - You shoot this puddle of liquid on the ground and marines slide on it like an ice block and they cant turn properly, or run back the way they came from. If a marines starts running in the liquid he will be running on the spot a bit.

dunno how useful it would be in the long run, but it would be funny to use on a downslope to get the marines into a pit or something <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
hmm, alien ability... tentacles, big slimy tentacles to scare the hell out of marines with, grapple them, drag them into your zone, one by one. probably so slow that the other marines would have the possibility to cut the tentacle before the guy disappears, but only just.

An alien that can shoot out cloud of black smoke like spore but harder to see through. When this alien is on low hp it will automatically shoot out a cloud of smoke to escape like an octopus.
yeah i like the slippary liquid idea also, seen it suggested a few times, but if implimented wrong a single left unguarded puddle could turn into a bunny hopping marines paradise when they are acctuly flying across the, at impact boosted speeds.

Well, it dont have to boost speed. Just keep you from stopping quickly like the water by the elevator in half-life 1.
yeah thats what i am talking about, watch a speed demo, he jumps over them crates at oh about 80k's hits the water and jumps and clears the next bend, two sentry lazer's and is half way up the ladder with out setting off the exsplosives or npc's all at about 130k's, it isnt until the soilder nade thru the boxes below that set it all off by then hes standing up next to g man, whos freaking out at how fast he got there.

The hive could automatically generate this, but it would be an upgrade to gorge. That would also get rid of 'drop 50 medpacks on the guy welding the hive. Sure, you can drop med packs, but not right on the guy.
What most people don't realize after watching me command is that my res pool isn't unlimited. 5 medpacks = 1 shotgun and 5 meds only save a marine from 3 skulk bites - considering that your med aim is godlike, which is impossible unless you're Korean. Whenever somebody med spams they take a huge gamble, position vs resources. If you successfully save a marine by letting him take 2 more skulk bites than he should have ALA divine intervention you still run the risk of wasting all that res when the next skulk comes around and negates your hard work.
Also, medspamming a guy trying to weld a full hp skulk is ludicrous as it'd take well over 100 meds.
