Actually, what you should do is pick one of your personal friends that you have a lot of respect for as a person of intecrity and intelligence and discipline. I suspect most people will warm up to the idea of a good regular person running for president.

Unless it was a woman he chose, they'd probably just think that he chose a friend. Occam's Razor and everything. Either he chose one of his friends who he secretly has a same-sex crush on and he wants to express this crush through his choice for a presidential candidate, or he chose a friend. I think I know what the kids in my school would have assumed.
