<div class="IPBDescription">July 7th</div>Since most folks probably didn't even notice the announcement in the "LAN parties" subforum, I figured that I should mention something here. I'll be hosting another LAN party this year while MaDMaXX is visiting from the UK. Make sure to mention it to potentially interested folks who may not read the forums regularly.

    The server that will be used for the LAN party is currently available as a vanilla NS pub server (thanks, ari). So next time you feel like pubbing, please grab a few friends, votemap your favorite map, and let us know how it performs. We might get a second instance running for pugs and scrims at some point, too.

    Good to bump into you again Grep, and yeah the server's great! I'm pretty sure I can make it to the LAN. I'd better get this huge CRT replaced with a flat-panel or I'll be hauling more than the usual load of Lerk Jerky around! SpaceMoogle5 had better be there, too!

    Yeah, Kev...you might want to remind Moogle that it's coming up in just over a week. Maybe he'll remember if he associates it with "07/07/07". Also, please spread the word...it seems like it's always so hard to get the word out.

    I put the word out to a few obscure sites that I'm involved in. Although it feels like fishing, I dont care who shows up, I'm pretty tolerant. I hope it gets a fair turnout grep.
