NS Lag Spikes + Strange file changes

The problems I've been having are two different catagories. First is the lag spike issue I've been having since before the patch. I'm not so sure this one is NS related as opposed to ISP though.

Randomly while playing the game, I'll experience a jumpiness in the game. My ping doesn't spike exactly, but my fps drops dramatically, or it'll seem like I'm getting caught on the floor/roof/walls. It's not the same kind of lag I get when my roommates all turn on their bittorrent clients. I'll also mention that it's likely not a hardware issue, but could something like that be the cause of the renderer?

My second problem is very recent, and only started after installing the 3.2 patch. I've had to reinstall NS twice because of this so far, and it looks like I may need to do it again. Randomly while playing on a server, I'll get removed from the server because of files being changed since the session started. The files are always different, sometimes sprites, sometimes maps. I don't know at all what would be causing this.

Help. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

After a little troubleshooting, I discovered that my new ram is bad and appears to be causing lots of problems. I believe as soon as my replacement comes, everything will be fine. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
