Steam and new NS?

When i start up Steam it wont load up.
In my processes it says steam.exe is running but it actualy aint running on screen.
It seem to happen with this new NS, when i have it installed this happens.
When i dont have NS installed, steam just runs up.
So any idea how i could fix this? since i want to play NS badly.

Could be running in the background. Hit Ctrl + Alt + Del, check the processes tab for Steam.exe, right click it and end process. Then try again.

I had this same problem, at first, but I resolved it...

-First, uninstall Steam (i know... its dumb, but bare with me)

    -Then, reinstall.

-Now, install NS, or any of the other games you like.

It should work now. The stupid Steam update is responsible for this bug.

Go on steam site and send a support ticket...or look in support section i remember a lot of people had this problem and it was caused by an other program...

More 1, ort 2 minutes waits are requied, and the steam is WILL boots up normally. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
