wouldnt it be super cool if there was a mmorpg where u are in war <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/asrifle.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::asrifle::" border="0" alt="asrifle.gif" />
i mean humans vs humans vs aliens or stuff like that on a huge battlefield fighting the enemys forces with your character

    I think that it'd be cool if we had a game that wasn't based on fighting.

    It'd be a massively multiplayer non-combat game in which you just lead another life online.

    A "second life", as it were.

    I like the title of this thread. It leaves so many possibilities for what it could possibly be about. So many exciting topics of discussion could be provided in the first post.

    Except it dissapointed pretty much in every concievable way.

    Everybody has ideas for a "lol awesome omigod best idea ever" MMO. None of them will happen. MMOs are expensive and in many cases won't pay back the money it takes to make and run them.

    Also a bajillion other MMORPGs have some sort of PvP with huge armies and stuff like that. Well, not with huge armies but enough to lag people.

    i searched for planetside on google looks like it still excists but thats not the art of game i thought of xD

    i thought of a game where u need to absolve a training like if you wanna be a pilot you need to make the training first b4 u can enter the war
    and maybe that you are able to fight in the space and maybe you just start as a pirat or smth and get stronger to do smth in the war
    just like its in the rl
    but i still got the hope someone will bring such a game in the next 10-20 years <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/siege.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::siege::" border="0" alt="siege.gif" />

    We're not feeding the troll, we're talking about something else. I've never played planetside and always thought it would be interesting if it wasn't so dead every time I thought about playing it. The troll is just an inadequate teenage kid who thinks his 'hilarious' thread is somehow still related to him.
