    I hope RE5 plays the same way. I absolutely adored 4 but it was the only reason I kept my GC, so... now I just have a 360 (and ps2, but I don't want the ps2 RE4).

    I don't suppose they'd consider bringing RE4 to next-gen consoles, consideing how well it did? :/ Probably rather just keep the franchise rolling.

The uber shotgun and the completely useless tazer gun that takes up two slots are both cool. Apparently in the version that let you use the dual shock sticks to move around there was also a battle game that was two players, which sounds pretty cool, but the hell if they think I'm going to buy a game twice <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> .<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->No way man; Nemesis had the best weapons, hands down. Western Custom, M16, Mine Thrower, Magnum, Gatling Gun. Western Custom automaticly makes it the best.

    Because of the way I play through games (first time no readme), I ditched the TMP in hopes for an upgraded one later on.

    Another thing I noticed (on the GC version) is that once you hit a certain amount of ammo, the creeps stop dropping it. So I recommend varying up what you use to kill people with, switching between shotgun, pistol, (TMP?,) rifle, and (sometimes) magnum shots.

    Another reason why I didn't bring the TMP along with me--It wasn't until well into the game (I think Chapter 4 or so) that i learned how to rotate things in my inventory. Sheesh! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":angry:" border="0" alt="mad-fix.gif" />

    As for Mercenaries mode. If you don't want to waste a lot of time playing around with it, there are a lot of good FAQs out there with all the tips you'll need (and pick up on your own if you play it long enough.) Just try to keep those combo's rollin'! The hardest (but most fun) character to 5 star with would be the guy with the TMP (and the kneckbreaker one-shot ability!) Sooo much fun.

    HUNK is the dude with the neck breaker. A good move to take out those chainsaw-wielding women in the village level.

    I love wesker in mercs... he gets the "thrust punch" which is sooo good... it's like a krauser arm that doesnt kill everything.... still sooo good, though.

    Ditto, couldn't make room in my inventory for the gun along with everything else. The shotgun and rifles IMO are must have. And if you get a magnum too (which is very nice to have for bosses) you can't collect ammo with a TMP as well. I guess you could go without a pistol, but seriously, it's the pistol...
    <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    Well there's no reason you can't skip the TMP, but then you'll keep finding ammo you can't use. And ammo you're not using in a game with not all that much ammo lying around is a big waste. It doesn't sell for nearly as much as its worth either.
