yeah, but at the moment, when a marine is digested, the guns just magicly appear from under the onos's stomach and fall to the ground... not realistic at all.... what goes in must come out!

the goal of NS2 is not to remake NS in source engine. NS2 is, as i understand it, supposed to be a new game built on the same concept. therefore, making onos the same but looking meaner is definitely not enough. it has to be different.
onos (and maybe another very large alien?) being able to charge through doors is a cool idea. mappers could create onos-specific doors which are only breachable with onos, or maybe a demo pack from marines.
not allowing the larger beasts to climb ladders, imo, would definitely make things more believable, but at the same time pose gameplay problems. mappers will need to create alternate routs for large aliens. it'll make things a bit more difficult for the mapper, but I think it's worth looking at. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
You shouldn't be able to knife your way out of an onos, ever.
Why? Because in game, you get digested in 30 seconds max. So that means, if a marine is devoured, he's probably be screaming in pain while his nerves are being dissolved. After the first like, 5 seconds, he's probably dead by then.
