<div class="IPBDescription">Anyone got it?</div>Hey everyone,
Waaay before we released NS v1.0, we released the "NSTR" - the Natural Selection Technology Release. This contained the mapping guidelines, ns.wad, basic Commander Mode (without much in the way of a UI, just the ability to enter a placeholder comm-chair and drop a working sentry), a few ambient sound effects and the .fgd (which defined the sizes and names of major entitites like res nodes).
Release the NSTR publicly let level designers start making maps and the community get a sneak peak behind what was to become NS. As you may or may not know, we are now working on the NS2 Technology Release - the NS2TR.
What I'm wondering is...does anyone have a link to the original NSTR? We'd like to release something sooner rather than later, and I have a feeling the original NSTR has even less than I remembered...
(I have this on backup somewhere but I bet someone else has a link around)

Probably, but what I meant was, the post I found on a forum archive containing the link was dated November 28th 2002.
Anyway, someone knows how to bypass this trouble and install the NSTR2.exe ?
