so its friday afternoon (2:30PM) my brother is still asleep and my parents are out. this leaves me bored with a camera phone. so i started taking pictures of my house. thought id make a thread and post up the pictures and i hope you guys do the same.

first my room. its about the size of a prison cell its quite messy and has a few useless things in it (like the couch which is basicly used to throw thing on)
<img src="http://img296.imageshack.us/img296/714/12080614103gd5.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
<img src="http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/6683/12080614101ua0.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
<img src="http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/9711/12080614102fb5.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

next is the main living area which consists of a dining table a few couches and the entertainment area.
<img src="http://img66.imageshack.us/img66/2783/12080614113px2.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
<img src="http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/1007/12080614111mz7.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
<img src="http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/5035/12080614112sc0.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

here is the backyard with my mr2 and my brothers accord. the big empty space to the left is where my parents cars would go
<img src="http://img66.imageshack.us/img66/5787/12080614121tp6.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

and here is the inside of our garage. stuff not pictured = bowflex,punching bag,and fridge full of beer.
we play ALOT of pool.
<img src="http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/5083/12080614122ui9.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

quite a few things i left (kitchen, parents bedroom, brothers room, etc) but i hope you guys get the idea. now start posting pictures of where you live <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    My backyard (minus the boat)

    The street I live on during a hard rain at high tide (no it's not a river - note the stop sign)

    Wow Chrono you have some nice stuff. Gigantic TV, room with white walls... I'd give anything for a room with white walls. Mine are blue.

    And I guess I'll take some pictures later when I'm less lazy. My room has all sorts of Star Wars stuff in it.

    I don't have any pictures of my home (and I think I'd be too shy to put them on teh intarweb) but I figure some of you might be interested in <a href="http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cs.ubc.ca%2F~mbrown%2Fautostitch%2Fautostitch.html&ei=Ogx6ReCdNYa4wQKRqsyVCA&usg=__Y5SHp3p6Vn62pi1nx_quBUHNEto=&sig2=ZWLGcHAkdYPuBx0u3hnNGw" target="_blank">AutoStitch</a>.

    It's just a free program for taking HUGE panorama pictures even with your cheap little digital camera. (The website says demo--they just don't want you making money off your panoramas, it's free to use otherwise).

    Throw in a bundle of pictures and it'll put them border to border all pretty for you. <a href="http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~mbrown/panorama/panorama.html" target="_blank">Examples here.</a>

    Have fun showing off!

    My bedroom, nothing special.

    <img src="http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/1549/frontroommj5.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    Front room and yes, that freaky metal rabbit thing is our clock.

    <img src="http://img453.imageshack.us/img453/6485/frontroom2gy3.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    Room is too small to take 1 big picture of it. Also big weave basket full of pine cones that my mum collected.

    <img src="http://img452.imageshack.us/img452/3486/dvdsyd1.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    loldvds. 90% of these are mine.

    <img src="http://img459.imageshack.us/img459/3573/kitchenoe6.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    Tiny kitchen.

    <img src="http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/9454/snow8fi.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    Old picture of back garden, those toys are the landlord's sons. Has more plants now.

    House is so small we couldn't fit the dining room table anywhere, and my mum's room is where the front room is supposed to go.

    you know that thing, when you have a couple of pictures listed, and theres a discription to each; halfwaythrough you forget if the text went with the image above or below said text.
    I was looking at the backgarden picture and i said to myself: "Wow, thats a really nice kitchen".

    <img src="http://home.comcast.net/~ronnaround/Computer1.JPG" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    First up is the room from which I write this and all the other abominations which I like to call my posts, the computer room. This room houses my family's computer, among other things. I have managed to color coordinate everything except the crappy old microphone and the awful wooden desk that my parents paid a fortune for. Honestly, silver, black, and blue LEDs are all an interior decorator needs. It's all I ever work with.

    <img src="http://home.comcast.net/~ronnaround/Room1.JPG" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    Next up are lots of angles of my room. This is a good view of my Jolly Roger, my giant teddy bear with an Indiana Jones fedora, a large amount of junk, and some Star Wars stuff. All of this, bar most of the Star Wars stuff, has been rescued from my family, which buys more than most third world countries and quickly grows tired of it. Highlights you can't make out because I was shaking like Michael J Fox when I took this picture are a Seinfeld Season 3 DVD (we don't watch Seinfeld) a tin of oatmeal (we don't eat oatmeal), a S'Mores Maker/Dessert Thing (we don't make S'Mores/dessert things), multiple styrofoam packing support mechanisms (hey they have to be useful sometime eh), a Pringles can (ditto), and a towel, which I stuff into the crack under my door each night so I can go to sleep even though everyone leaves the lights on (we don't use the lights, we just leave them on).

    <img src="http://home.comcast.net/~ronnaround/Room2.JPG" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    Fun. Here's my bed. To the right is the awesome Yoda poster composed of frames from Star Wars movies, and to the left is a flag that says nothing about my feelings towards America and its former adversary the USSR (honestly one of my blankets is a giant American flag. I'm no commie). You can also see a non-functioning fan (I live in Seattle, why would I even need a fan), a framed picture of a wittle kitteh perched between 2 milk bottles (scavenged from my brother's closet, he doesn't miss it).

    <img src="http://home.comcast.net/~ronnaround/Room3.JPG" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    On to picture 3 of my room, a different view of my bed. Note the bookcase, complete with glass bottles (rest of my family was gonna throw the buggers out), picture drawn by my friend who is an awesome artist (actually bought for me by my mom, which I said was silly because since he's my friend I could probably get some free art but you know how people are), an unidentified black lump on top of the bookcase (have to remember to check that when I go to bed tonight), a lamp that is not plugged in (parents were gonna throw it out), a chair for my desk (parents were gonna throw it out), and a few books.

    <img src="http://home.comcast.net/~ronnaround/Room4.JPG" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    More! You've seen the chair, now for the desk! I managed to save the chair from the Dumpster but this has not increased my usage of the desk very much, especially because both it and the floor around it are completely full of stuff I have salvaged and stuff I have accumulated. Notable accoutrements include a house made of Legos on the floor to the left, decks of SWCCG cards on the desk, a cloth Dungeon Siege map (I do not own the game), and other stuff. In the furniture piece above the desk affixed to the wall I keep some neat stuff, like a bunch of Star Wars Pez dispensers arranged via relationships: Boba Fett next to Vader, who is next to Leia, who is next to R2-D2 and Luke. There are also Lucite salt and pepper shakers that my parents were going to discard, 4 pear shaped candles that also smell like pear (destined for trash), a gigantic R2-D2 (well, giant compared to other toy renditions of him), 2 knives, an empty vanilla bottle that my mom was gonna throw out but that would work super well as a hip flask if it had a cork (it doesn't), and some free mugs (one says ASUS).

    Moving on, you'll see my closet (meh, shelves block any possible storage of dead people) and a cardboard standup of Darth Vader, who stares directly at me each night as I fall asleep. The effect of this falls somewhere between creepy and comforting: you decide. It certainly keeps strangers out of my bed.

    <img src="http://home.comcast.net/~ronnaround/Room5.JPG" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    This last picture has my chest/bureau or whatever, and a bunch of Star Wars figures pegged up to the wall above it. That empty coffee tin you see serves me very well as an end-of-the-school-year money begging jar: I walk around and have people deposit coins in it. Average haul is $20-30 bucks because I'm just that popular/pitiful depending on who you ask. Those white cardboard boxes that are long and skinny contain SWCCG cards. The binders also contain SWCCG cards. There are other SWCCG cards just sitting on the desk.

    So that's my house, condensed into the only 2 rooms I care about. If you dig through the "yaaay snow" thread you'll see my backyard which is an awesome squirrel and bird respository and not much else. I think we'll all agree that your lives are richer for having read about mine, especially with the addition of my artful photography.

    If you're ever in Seattle and want to hug the giant teddy bear with the Indiana Jones fedora, call me, I'll hook you up.

    <img src="http://rooftopheroes.no-ip.info:100/images/home/desk.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
    Desk and monitors. I actually just cleaned it up a little bit. A very little bit.

    <img src="http://rooftopheroes.no-ip.info:100/images/home/drpepper.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
    Random crap, notably, a Dr Pepper bottle from Europe, a glass Dr Pepper bottle from the Dublin Dr Pepper Company, and a Dr Pepper can from Japan that my friend brought back for me with a random large breasted orange woman on it.

    <img src="http://rooftopheroes.no-ip.info:100/images/home/phone.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
    My Star Trek phone that sits on my second monitor.

    <img src="http://rooftopheroes.no-ip.info:100/images/home/server.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
    The old computer I use as a server, a random mobo and crap sitting on top of it, and some old cases that I stacked up to use as shelves.

    <img src="http://rooftopheroes.no-ip.info:100/images/home/livingroom.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
    The livingroom. Note the random stuff everywhere.

    <img src="http://rooftopheroes.no-ip.info:100/images/home/dvd.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
    <img src="http://rooftopheroes.no-ip.info:100/images/home/dvd2.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
    Sonic: I see your "loldvds" and raise you a brazillion more. Although, to be fair, some of those are VHS. Keep in mind that thats just the surface layer. Each of those shelves is about 3 dvds/vhs deep.

    <img src="http://rooftopheroes.no-ip.info:100/images/home/kitchen.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
    lol kitchen

    <img src="http://rooftopheroes.no-ip.info:100/images/home/murray.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
    Our cat.

    Theres also some stuff I didn't bother photoing, like the hallway, parent's room, mom's office, bathroom, et cetera.

    Pictars of my room, as promised ^^

    <img src="http://xs110.xs.to/xs110/06501/my_room_1.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
    This is where most of the action happens. Basic stuff here, PC (the nearside panel of my case looks NOTHING like that now. Not since I took a hammer to it trying to straighten it out on the floor...), obvious related items to it (Yes, I know I'm a Logi-freak...), Xbox360 (which is only just visible...) etc. etc. etc.
    See Sonic? That is the cleanest computer desk I've ever seen as well...
    <img src="http://xs110.xs.to/xs110/06501/my_room_2.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
    This is where the rest of the action happens <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink-fix.gif" />
    Pretty much standard stuff that's thrown on there. A poster I lost my rag with trying to put up, which is now in the bin. Pringles (come on, you just can't stop <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />), and my gorgeous dressing gown, which is SO bloody soft...
    <img src="http://xs110.xs.to/xs110/06501/my_room_3.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
    My other desk, piled high of crap, most of which I should throw out, because I never use them any more... And the big jellyfish, that I won totally at random at an amusement park nearby.
    <img src="http://xs110.xs.to/xs110/06501/my_room_4.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
    Ahh, the wardrobe, something I actually like, which was robbed from my brother when he moved room <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
    Here you can see the old-###### TV that I play my 360 on. Console being a year old nearly, and the TV being about 4 years old... Go figure <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    That's pretty much it tbh, y'all welcome to come over, if you're ever in the Caister area of the UK.

    I love my desk - It should have an extra layer above the monitor but that CTR gets warm enough to heat my room so I took it off. My printer used to sit up there + whatever random junk was lying around.

    P.S I VOW TO CLEAN AND TAKE MORE PICS AFTER MY EXAM TODAY!!
