    <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irn_bru" target="_blank">Irn Bru</a> is a carbonated drink made in scotland. This lightly fizzing orange stuff is primarily drunk in Scotland, however I hear it on good authority that we export a fair amount of it to certain other countries (Russia loves the stuff.)
    How it tastes? Well... to me it tastes a bit like fizzy orange-flavoured cardboard (which is a lot more pleasant than it sounds) but you'll probably get all kinds of descriptions from different people; it's kinda of hard to nail down like that ^^

    As for <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Snowman" target="_blank">The Snowman</a> it's an animated film done entirely without dialogue based off a British children's book. It's famous over here for the sequence where the snowman takes the little boy flying around the country to the tune 'walking in the air' which is mimicked in the irn bru advert (though obviously with different lyrics :p ).

    I dunno, the idea of a sapient snowman flying around, stealing drinks from little kids and then dropping the kids into big snowbanks is kinda creepy. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

    MY mum being Scottish naturally loves the stuff described as a 'Soft Sparkling Mixed Fruit Flavour Drink'... I couldn't tell you what it tastes like except I like it.

    The advert promotes bullying, taunting and violence to children ban it (Yes that was a joke)

    Well I don't know how Irn Bru is made, but I'm sure it's not a Scotland special. I've encountered drinks with the same flavor in Asian countries, under different packagings, and people over there crave that drink. And I'd think they didn't reverse engineer a Scottish import ;o)

    Been waiting to see that advert for ages!
    Read about it in the paper and my friends have been going on about it too. It was as funny as I thought it be.

    But yeh, I took a bottle of the stuff to Malta for a conference - part of which was a global village (show of your country) - the stuff went 5 times faster than the whisky that i ended up having to finish.

    On another note iv been to all the landmarks apart from the Falkirk wheel.

    um... the kid doesn't die depot, you see him poke his head out of the snow and shake it off at the end.

    Also the 'weird music' probably makes less sense if you haven't seen "The Snowman" which is a classical piece of UK culture.
