A while ago i was cleaning up on my cumputer and accidentally removed my custom made StarCraft sprites, WarCraft III sprites and my Sam and Mary Marine sound-pack <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" /> .
So, i decided to do a remake on them! (At least the StarCraft).

The topdownbottom was the first thing i did.

I have also started on some commander buttons.

    Please for all that is good in the world, please finish this! I was looking for your old sprites on NSARMSLAB and then I learned the hardway that it was down, you see I have made my NS into SC with:

    -SC minipack (marines and other goodies.)
    -SC soundconversionPack (all the old starcraft sounds, dying, respawning etc.)
    -SC Zerg pack( All the Khaara are Zerg! woot!)

    Now I just need weapons, buildings and sprites. So please finish this, id love to see Terran upgrades, and I can't find your old file anywhere. (Or any others for that matter.)

    BTW if any of you would like links to those files just ask, they arn't TOO hard to find but I thought id make it easier for those who want it.

    This pach is moving forvard, but there is quite a lot of things that is nedd to be done, but I'm sure that is going to be done soon <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />.

    Here are some sprites that are going to replace the commander buttons. I decided to use the NS buildings and just color them so it would look more like starcraft.

    Edit: I did not make the "nuclear explotion", "med pack v2" and some other icons which you never see in the game.. so, if you can tell me what the are good for, please tell me <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    P.S. please give me a tip about a better "distress beacon" icon (the top left on the 2nd image).

    I would say use the Comstation symbol, you know the little satallite thingie you can add to a Command Center. Unfortunatly I cannot for the life of me remember what it looks like.

    Barring that you might try one of the Protoss symbols, maybe the Arbiter Recall ability? It looks goofy though, a black cirlce thingie? cmon. Still its an alternative.

    No icons are transparent, i took screenshots from HL-model viewer and added a color mask over the buildings/weapons. But they are brighter :/, hope that isnt a problem? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

    Maby include this in the pack?

    Yes that is. Not a major one, but NS icons are really pale.

    Ive tested the sprites and you don't realy notis that they are more pale then the SC-icons, because you'll never see them at the same time.

    Since this is on the topic of SC, question:

    -Is there a SC soundpack for the 2 teams released that are still active (for dl) ?
    -If not, will something like that be uploaded together with the sprites?

    I got back to NS and had the StarCraft Pack at once as well, but from NSArmslab. Can't get it from there tho.

    Rly? I didnt really look, in the readme I coulda swore it said pistol. Now you have forced me to check. Ill edit this post with my results.

    Ok so I just tested this bad boy. Its from SC-Minipack 11.1 Which replaces marines and Kharra.
    The C-10 Cannister Rifle most definatly replaces Pistol. First of all it says so in readme. Second I see where you got the HMG idea, the V_hg_model HG standing for Handgun.

    Hah good point lost, I was thinking of the gauss rifle of the SC marine...

    I just edited the model names to point to LMG cause that's what it looks like (I mean an LMG-style weapon for the PISTOL? Is this guy nuts?).
