I'm The|Ase from www.aserogaming.net.
Starting July 06, I began renting NS servers to replace the servers dropped by aero, the leading ns provider at that time. Asero currently runs 3 NS servers, a classic/combat, a combat w/ buildmenu, and a custom ns and siege server.
Come late November, we will be hosting our servers off of our own dedicated server and will be expanding our NS community as well as hosting other steam games. In time, we hope to be hosting a NS2 or NS:S server.
So far asero has been very succesful. Our top server is ranked #2 in traffic, and our other 2 servers aren't far behind. I personally spend a lot of time managing the servers and site and even our ventrilo server, but am always looking for support, new members, and a growing community. Still, I can see you're trying to help out the NS community, so I'll just welcome you to our forums & move this from General Discussion to Server Discussion.
KEYWORD: CLASSIC!!!!
We had re-created [Fat's] Accidental Bowel movemnet, strictly classic ns and vanilla co, but it didn't get any traffic once fall started. We will be starting another strictly classic and vanilla server once we switch from renting game servers to renting dedicated.
Classic is still the best
Siege is a close second
Combat, you're fun, but you're so replaceable.
I play on them almost everyday. Every time you show up on one of your servers, I end up with a 1-3 ratio. That was kind of annoying, but I didn't realize you owned the servers.
I'll let people decide if they want to play on a server like this.
Not trying to start anything here, but if you're any good at the game, don't play there. I was banned because I killed The|Aes a few times with a shotgun.

Wow, not only he's a nazi but he's also an emo nazi. Big LOL at his music selection too. No wonder chicks dump him for real men.
Those server names are obviously edited. I have never named them that. Mak, you and I have never gotten along.... back in the aero days you tried to act cool and talk trash on vent and when your servers died and you had to talk on my vent server you got banned. Since then you've done nothing but try ad slander my name and my servers.
I'm emo? If I'm emo then real emo kids should be considered suicide victims.
I don't kick or ban based on skill. Mak you're not welcome on my servers, you never will be, that's the reason you were banned from my old ips, rest assures, you will be banned from the new ips.
We run 4 ns servers. We allow our players to express themselves freely. If an admin has an issue with a particular player and the player feels wrongly treated, we have forums like any other server.
Asero has a large community. 1 of the servers is almost always full enough for a fun round, and we have pretty good admin presence all day long.
If you chose to believe the nonsense people post about the server and not give it a try, I'm sorry you are so easily misled and that you'll miss out on our servers. If you chose to visit us, thank you and if you see me on or see me talking through console, be sure and let me know you are a UK forum reg.
Edit - My music selection makes me emo? I guess listening to different artists is emo these days. I suppose I ought to update that part, haven't changed it since I created my myspace 2 years ago or so. I've found a lot of great new artists since then.
Second Edit - for those who assumed I actually put white power and f.o.n in my server titles and thought less of me for it, go screw yourselves. If you believe the first thing people tell you on the internet without checking for yourself, your ignorant ###### aren't welcome on my servers.
I declared quite clearly that players are allowed to express themselves freely.... as in freedom of speech.... as in say whatever they want. That doesn't mean you won't be gagged if you say things just to aggravate people, or if you're constantly spamming racist remarks as a sign that you're cool. PerfectOne usually gags and temp bans people who make racist remarks, I personally tell them to shut up and play nice if I'm not completely upset with my team.
So in short..... racism is included when I say express themselves freely. I tend to believe that people's opinions can only offend you if you're not secure enough to defend yourself.
If you're trying to call me a racist..... you're an idiot. I hate certain people from all sorts of races, and I love certain people from all sorts of races. Your opinion on the matter aggravates me because you think it means something. I don't call into question your standings on racism, if I did, I'd be acting like a jerk... catch the hint?
