Since loads of new people have found NS I thought I would share with them the reason I started playing NS

    Not working for me in FF 1.5 with Flash 9, but if it's the intro that was on the site, it's pretty cool.

    I think it's the little intro you see first that we're talking about. The page that follows the flash intro doesn't work for me either.

    It didn't show up for me at first either (FF 2.0), but it did after I reloaded the page.

    It was the splash page on natural-selection.org before NS launched. I can't rember when it was taken down but it soon after the release AFAIK

    Maybe I can add this to the Gallery page somehow? I'm not sure if <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns/?action=profile&id=66" target="_blank">BathroomMonkey</a> (who was the original author!) still has the original Flash source for it or not, but it'd be nice to get a version without the redirect at the end.

    Perhaps not.....

    IIRC NS has access to the same sound library StarCraft uses........

    That'd be pretty cool. Both that Flash and the original trailer reminded me of the way-back days of October 31, 200...uh...2? Has it been that long? I was sleeping over at a friend's house and I showed him NS and we played many hours of 1v1 until he fell asleep... and I continued to play online for the rest of the day :-P

    my first time was broken in as one of the first online games i ever played. I was shown CS , then went to a friends and played a little NS never really played CS1.6 again and still cant play a console game.

    I remember that intro!


    If you want to remove the redirect, just decompile that flash movie, edit it, and then recompile it.
