votemap menu staying on screen through the game

<div class="IPBDescription">if I don't vote on last 2 choices, it stays there</div>I noticed that somtimes, when at the end of a game, where there is a map vote, on the last votemap menu, where you have to choose between 1 and 2, if I don't vote, sometimes that same votemenu will stay on my screen through the next game.

Is there anything reported for this ?

Is there anything in the works to fix it ?

It also stays up if you disconnect from the server and join a new server.

So far, the only fix that I know of, short of restarting the game is... another vote!

Ask an admin to do a vote and it usually should clear it. Any vote... such as

amx_vote yes no maybe

is all it takes. Or wait for the next map vote... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

I <i>think</i> this is an amx (server mod that runs things like these votes) problem.

Yeah, that's more of a plugin issue than an NS issue...

I get that too, but i try to live with it instead of restarting NS cos its a pain to leave a good game.

If you forget to vote(and really don't wanna restart), and you get that stuck on your screen, the best thing to do is go into a server with a menu plugin(xmenu, buildmenu, etc), open the menu(usually say /xmenu or xmenu to open xmenu, and /buildmenu or buildmenu for buildmenu) and that menu should get rid of it. Either that or ask the admin to make a useless vote.

you can type amx_menu in console to get rid of it, it will get you an option to click 0 to exit the menu

This is an issue with a third party server plugin for NS, and not NS itself. There's nothing we can do here to solve this problem, sorry.

Its strange its happening only in NS, and to fix the problem, just type amx_langmenu, it works on all amxx servers

It's not only NS.. This bug exists in all the modifications. As said above, the only way to fix it is re-connect to the server (and or restart the game).. Or have a admin on the server to create a new poll. If you are the server admin, just open the amxmodx menu to fix the problem as well.

As noted this is not an issue with the game, but is related to AMXX. Changing servers will not delete the menu, and the only fix I know is to back out of Steam and rejoin.

Unfortunately this issue cannot be currently resolved.

Yea, I did forgot to mention this happens to all the servers / modifications that is running AMX Mod X.

its wrong, its not happening in CS, i was admin of severals servers, never had this in CS!!
