Unfortunately my GSX is down yet again. Just had the head pulled and replaced for some porting and valve work, and the machine shop mis-lapped the valves. Hadn't even paid for the first R&R when all four on #1 toasted. So it's back in and the head is off again to be re-done, likely screwing up the five-angle valve job I paid out the ###### for.

At least I have the new metal headgasket on, revised 'big bore' lifters so the engine runs MUCH more quietly, and Crower springs/retainers to bump the redline to 8K on the valvetrain. Could go with undercut valves to get an extra 500rpm of breathing room at the top, but I'm not currently willing to shell out yet another $350 until I get the car running reliably for six months solid. :b

The fun part was burning the valves though. Pretty sure they got toasted chasing a Z06 at just under a buck fifty. ;D

Soon as that's all done, I have the cash set aside for 2-pot front calipers, new rotors, and a short route front mount intercooler kit... apparently most of my current power is being limited by the stock sidemount intercooler. Going from a 5x7" to a 7x23" core should help out just a bit. ^_^

Green/black interior (currently doing an interior conversion to black)
    Still debating on engines. KA/SR20/RBxx/LS1

    Got the car in June/July.
Fun to drive. A bit risky in the rain though lol. Slided around a corner the other night after a bit of medium rain, but hey. That's what the car is meant for. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" /> RWD ftw but Rain > RWD

1991 Mitsubishi Magna i share with my brother... its reliable, but er, that hasnt prevented it visiting the mechanic often.

    - my brother smashed it once
    - i ###### up the headlight once (still not properly fixed, gg masking tape)
    - i was driving home my drunk friend when he got the brilliant idea of knocking my gearstick (auto) into reverse while i was travelling forward at 60km (bout 45miles) an hour. *CRUCH* drive shaft snaps.

so yes my car... its been through a lot god bless it.
