<div class="IPBDescription">brushing off the dust =/</div>I think there was a thread about this map a long time ago in its early stages, but it was until recently that I had the motivation to continue this map...so heres another thread =/

In a nutshell, an abandoned (derelict) spacecraft was found infested by kharaa, and the marines are sent in to eradicate them (surprise). The overall theme and feel of the map is heavily inspired by system shock 2.

Its around 20-25% done...I have a layout but I have no means to scan it atm =/

    Yummy. Except for some texture allignement issues (mainly with ceiling_panel1 and flr_grey02), me likes what you've got so far. Good atmosphere in there. You could try to use more trim textures. For example on the second shot, you are splitting up the ground (wich is good) with huhh, "big digging squares". On the 8 units borders it create, imo it would be prettier to have a trim texture here, like t_trimgrey for example, and maybe some texture lights. Am i making sense? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> Another comment on that second screenshot and the ground split-up; bhopping players won't like it, use clipbrushes. But maybe you did that already. Lastly, are r_speeds okay so far?

    Yeah its a nice atmosphere but it is very similar in some rooms. Some change of theme would be nice. (But maybe you already planned that for the other 75% of the map)

    I really love those toilet-signs ^^ Seems like all other spaceships are made for robots <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink-fix.gif" /> More of this everyday stuff. Thats what makes a map apear real ^^
