Ranges weapons activate switches
I was playing on a server today and i noticed that i could flip switches using the skulks parasite ability. I'm pretty sure it works for all alien ranged weapons but I'm not sure. has anybody tested this out? I think its easier to just parasite a switch instead of climbing up to it and hitting use! Just thought I'd fill in anybody who didn't know!

Yeah, they do. I dunno why either. Really fun to open doors in front of marines though, and watch them panic and look around for you on the other side.

Makes sense. Switches are 3d objects (well they're just a 2d texture in the game)...so if you were to throw anything at one hard enough...it'll switch it!

edit: That was about real life...I was explaining what it makes sense in NS. Not implying that anything can flip NS switches.

'Parasite' can activate/deactivate any object you normaly have to use.

But this only works with 'Parasite', not with any other alien/marine weapon.

I learned this just four days ago, it's still very funny to close a door behind a marine from above...

Yeah, this works great and I love it.
All skulks should be aware of this and should use it all the time

I've JUST been using it in he maintenance corridor on Hera! SO MUCH FUN WATCHING THEM panic when that door opens, and they come DOWN looking for what did it!

It is a known bug, and I think Flayra is going to remove it or something...

although I wish it would stay... it's fun and convenient!

    I don't think it's a bug; it doesn't work with lerk's spikes.
