    I guess TheDamage just ignored the part where he talked about the grenade-spamming. Or the guys with HMGs sitting on the Turret Factories, welding. Or the fact that knives ignore Umbra.

    Oh well.

    I was more than suprised whan i first learned that marines didnt have that limit... no matter what anyone says 'oh rush in as onos yadda yadda' its just stupid. we shouldnt HAVE to die to take out a few cheesy turrets. the game is supposed to be about slef preservation not about repeat suicide.

    Even things out.. make a turret limit.. the game is more than boring when you have to repeat suicide for several hours trying to take out a block or turrets.

    Yeah I had a similar experience on Hera last night. The marines had built a turret wall three layers deep with another 'ring' of turrets in the middle completely surrounding one of the turret factories. It got just plain silly. We had all three hives, and were throwing everything we had at them. It was pointless. After 2 hours of this I reset the server. Why marines can build that many turrets and the aliens are limited I don't know. Flayra needs to revaluate this rule. Secondly yes you can blink behind the wall, when the blink works. It still has some issues where you should be able to do it but you still can't. It still takes the energy but doesn't teleport you. Also it does not good to teleport inside the first 'wall' to hit another one that is surrounding the turret factory. Oh here's another kind of wall I ran into. The turret factory was completely surrounded by Command Chairs thus 'sealing' it in. You know how many acid rockets it takes to blow up a command chair??? I think its around 100-120. Pointless. These kinds of situations bother me enough to stop playing. There needs to be some kind of alternative winning condition after so much time has passed. They give the teams a 'score' why not use that. It would punish a team that doesn't even try to expand. Also there needs to be a tool that will auto switch people to even teams and also why allow one team to get 2 more players than the other? Why not limit it to one? Just ranting sorry.

    The weakness of OC's is the limit. The weakness of turrets is the factory. Is this really that hard to understand? It's not like you can build something to auto-repair the turrets, like something else....

    Also, there is a turret limit per factory: however many turrets can fit into the area controlled by the factory.

    TF - basic sentry, 5 max
    Advanced TF - 10 basic sentries
    Siege TF - 3 siege cannons, 5 basic sentries


    Start with TF, upgrade to Advanced or Siege.

    Sounds good, in theory, but that's just me.
