    Actually, I know for sure Arena is legal. Bethesda did actually release that particular game in the TES series for download. Still on their main site, I believe.

    If you'd actually LOOK you'd see that the ones that aren't released yet (such as Homeworld, Quake I and II, etc) are just there as demo versions.

    Re-opening this thread. The site makes it very clear when a game it lists is downloadable in playable form, as opposed to having its source available for viewing and editing but its full playable game still for-pay.
