    Well erm, I don't know what it was called but there was a tournament so you should be able to root it out by looking through the archives.

    I remember exactly the game you're talking about, but while I don't remember the game, I do remember that it's no longer free to play.     The trial back then was "Nobody's unregistered version, regardless of when downloaded and installed will not work after <certain date>." I just downloaded the trial again and it's changed to "You have 10 free plays without registering."
