<div class="IPBDescription">Microsoft's Google Maps</div> Google Maps just got the "hybrid" mode that enables you to show the satellite picture with street names, which you can see <a href='http://maps.google.com/maps?spn=45.891810,82.995117&t=h&hl=en' target='_blank'>here</a>. Meanwhile Microsoft has released their online map thing called <a href='http://virtualearth.msn.com/' target='_blank'>Virtual Earth</a> that provides essentially the exact same functionality.

Is Microsoft going to continue copying all of Google's ideas?

    Think of it like normal software Ruby. We have MS Word, OpenOffice, *Lotus etc. Each company using the same idea can only mean competition and a better service and end product... hopefully.

    microsoft's crap site cant even reveal my house in color or resolution that google's can do. Plus google's site works alot better than this one in everyway.
