<div class="IPBDescription">yet another movie trailer</div> I found out about this before it was posted on slashdot, I promise! <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Seeing how the Wachowski brothers are involved in this film, it doesn't surprise me they're handling their trailers just like they did for the Matrix films: standard resolutions available for normal people, higher-than-DVD-quality resolutions for people like us <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
140MB for 2 and a half minutes of film at 1920xSomething. I wonder when something like this'll become the next standard after DVDs...
[edit]Bah, nearly forgot the <a href='http://vforvendetta.warnerbros.com/trailer.html' target='_blank'>link</a>

HOLY MOTHER OF UWE BOLL.
That movie looks like liquid sex poured over a cake made out of cocaine served on a playboy bunny. And I want it.
If by "special codec" you mean Quicktime 7, yes, the higher-res versions need it. You may have just reinstalled 6.5.2 or whatever you thought was the latest version -- I was about to do the same thing.
Quicktime 7 seems new enough that the link to get it for non-mac machines is rather small. I guess they aren't confident they've ironed out all the bugs yet. <a href='http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/preview/' target='_blank'>linky</a>
I want this to be good, but I'm not sure it will be.
In the trailer, I saw a gun hidden inside a bible; do you reckon they had the balls to include the Bishop, considering that that character will probably cause upset in certain parts of America?
I'll likely see it, if only to see how far they dared to go.
Takes a while to load the first frame ;D
However, after seeing this trailer, I don't know what to think. They've done V very well, and some of the casting looks interesting. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I just hope they don't get it into their heads to have V take his mask off.
Have you read the comic?

Alot's been changed from the comics. He's right to say it looks dumb. Befouling the works of Alan Moore makes baby Jesus cry.
Oh Gods no.
