My wonderful milkshape render :o
I accidently got the updated maps, but not the model so ignore the charging handle. The maps...were a pain sometimes, but overall it wasn't too bad.

It's generally very nice, but the hammer pin's sleeve doesn't meet the body very smoothly. The texture and polies make it look very jagged.
The front inside edges of the carry handle and trigger guard feel very sterile and plastic-smooth.
Seems to me it should be "RIS", unless there's an RAS system I forgot about.
it just needs a red-dot site
Bwah! O_o
I wouldn't really call myself "back." I've been popping in occasionally to check up on the new models. I'm on satellite Internet, so I can't play anything on-line, and I lost all my model projects, so I can't be doing any more modelling at the moment. I haven't gotten into Softimage and I don't think I'll be doing the Manchester Burning mod.
How you been doing?
any skin of yours seems to be "pure black". I allways have to change contrast on any skin to be able to see details, no matter which pc I use to view the model.
but a pretty nice "YAM4T"-model ("yet another m4 themed"-model)

whats wrong with YOUR monitor?
What I've found is that having dark wallpapers and Windows colour schemes [or just generally dark stuff being projected] ruins CRT monitors until they can't project bright colours anymore. It's a progressive condition that can only be fixed by getting a new monitor. I stopped using dark colours except when viewing certain sites and such, which can't be helped anyway.
That may have something to do with what you've been experiencing, Gravity.
Also, tell your friend he forgot to model the shell deflector.
