#nsmapping Ban?

<div class="IPBDescription">Wow, forgot about it XD</div> Aight, my old name on IRC was BulletHead. Since I've recently joined a new clan, I'm now known as KitsuneInuYasha, a name I've used for a while in most games (including BF2, ST:SFC OP and 3, AT:Armada 1 and 2, ect)

I just went to join NSMapping for a question, and got this

You were kicked by ChanServ ((Mendasp) BulletHead is ban evading! call the Internet police!)

1) Wasn't Mendasp banned from the NS forums?
2) I've been banned... almost 6 months now? Ouch
3) Can I be unbanned by any chance?

I don't even remember WHY I was banned at this point XD

Thankfully #nsmapping has nothing to do with the rest of the NS community so the operators can do whatever they want to keep retards out of there.

Also, #NSMapping is not an official channel, so this is not the place to discuss this. And I'm totally banned, can't you see?

#NSMapping has nothing to do (at all) with the NS dev team. It's run by Zazi, and if you have a complaint, take it up with him (I haven't seen him in quite a while however).

I don't know why you decided to post this here.

BulletHead: I wouldn't let it worry you. Zazi has his own unique way of running that channel. If you need to talk to someone from #nsmapping, chances are you'll probably be able to find then in #naturalselection, or talk to someone in there who can get you in touch.

The real question is: If the original question was replied (three times, even) why is the thread still open and why did trolls post in it telling everyone in this forum that we're evil and how they shouldn't ever join the channel?

Anyway... maybe I'll work on creating my own mapping channel? I'm no pro mapper, but I'm much improved from before at any rate... I might scrap ns_incubus for the problems it's going to have with gameplay and just canniblize it

Bullethead Mendasp did get an official warning quite a while ago, that's about it.

To drag this a bit more on topic, how about we make an actual channel for ns mapping that does deal with ns mapping and is tied in with the official channel?
