Best way to improve these core skills is to watch clanners in action. Grab yourself some demos.
Grab some demos or hop around spectating some of the better players and soon enough you'll find some little trick to help. Not every player jumps around like a fiend and relies more on never missing to stay alive, but whatever works for you is what's important.

Uhh what are you talking about? Reflexes have little to do with movement tricks used to get away from aliens...

A good marine will use his surroundings to his advantage, by this I meen a good marine will usually bhop ~5 hops by using first the ground then maybe a rail and then a box or two.
Easy stuff, that is only useful against fades though, against skulks you just stand and shoot 9-10 bullets into the skulk, huge.
