Hi there, whenever I play NS, i get like 100 fps.
But whenver I look at an enemy, it looks distorted and laggish.. <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I know that there is a driver somewhere that fixes this problen.. But i don't know where to find it..

The 5.6 catalysts (new ones) fixed the problems with my 9600 (though they were different and not effecting NS)
I wouldn't use the Omegas simply because they are for performance tweaking, and this just needs a bug fix.
The last good version with my 9600 was the 5.2 catalyst drivers, and if nothing else, dust off the driver cd which came with the card and try those, they may be old, but they probably worked fine before.
Also make sure there isn't any video distortion when you see an enemy, cause if there is a major problem with a player model or something, it may not be the drivers.
PS, the 5.6s are on ATi's homepage, and the 5.2s can be found using google (how i got em a couple of times).....can't really help you with the CD <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

...in console.
Find out by deleting/renaming config.cfg then typing the variable in console in-game. (Without a value.) Its current value (the default) will be displayed.
