I Want The Moderators To Declare Martial Law

<div class="IPBDescription">Get rid of these repetitious posts</div> Am i the ONLY one who comes in here every day and skims through everything only to have seen it a thousand times before?

I pray Flayra and his minions put a stop to all this.

I put in a vote to have ALL new posts on ideas that have been covered before to be permantly and immediatly deleted.

I am sick to the core of my black heart of seeing the SAME thing day in and day out.

Hmm -- maybe other people dont really care what you're "sick to the core of your black heart" about?

This may not be readily obvious to you, but not everyone reads these forums day in day out. Many new players are registering every day, and ideas that have been discussed in the last few weeks are not stale topics for the new comers.

Just because you have been a fan longer than others doesn't give you any authority to decree what topics are worthy of the -public- forum's attention.

I whole-heartedly invite you to NOT read the topics you've already read. Whoa! There's an idea...

So next time you see a topic like (Turrets are unfair!), instead of opening the topic and reading it... skip it and think to yourself "Why can't other people be like me...".

I agree, and I am guilty , I asked about bilebomb damage in a thread after looking through "some" threads only to refresh and see 3 other current Bilebomb threads.

I think people being annoyed with things has been brought up before. Mods, delete this thread. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

Hey, in my opinion, we're almost locking too much.
Yes, things shouldn't be discussed twice. But if there is a topic that has a common basis to an older idea, that however has got a new twist to it, it deserves its chance.

crazy idea, but why not make a "bug list" sticky it on top so people can check whats getting fixed in 1.03.. err re-do it that is...

let's declare martial law on all those who spent too much time reading all the posts (twice) and complain about it. just relax bro. don't make it hard on the rest of us.

surely if its too repetitive the people who have seen it all before can ignore it and it should safely drop off page one very swiftly. if people wish to comment on it it will remain up there but any who don't want to read about X again can just ignore it...

    gosh. so simple a solution.

If that happened, you'd see a lot less activity in these forums. A LOT less. What will be left to discuss?

"Uh, well, it's a nice day today..."

"Bzzzt! Sorry, the 'nice day' post was done last month. Try SEARCHING next time, n00b!"

    I mean, come on...

New threads often have a new twist on things, as Nemisis said. That, and every once and a while it's nice to start new, forget all the old comments, and see how people's views have changed.

Aye, but you see, the problem with your argument is thus:

    It already <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=SF&f=26' target='_blank'>exists</a> <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

Almost no-one ever reads those when they first register. Then they immediatly go to the first forum they can click on, and post "OMG WHERES THE AWP?!?!"

(Ok, its an exageration, but sadly, sometimes true)
