Ns Doesnt Show Up In Steam List!

Ok, really annoyed, me and my mate are wanting to play NS and like we cant because it only works on one machine! I installed it on one fine, and when it comes to installing it on the other machine it installs but doesnt appear in the "third party games" list, infact thta list isnt even there. We have different halflife keys btw..

is there a way around this? somone must know!

    i am also having the same problem ive tryed to reinstall and ive restarted my computer ive also logged in and out of steam...i can c my third party games list (cuse i have digital paintball ) but im unable to c ns after i install it some1 help us plz!!!

    Did you ever run half-life before?
    Because it's needed.

    As for you, have you installed it in the right directory?

    Can you tell me exactly what you do when you install ns?

    make sure that its installed into /valve/steam/steamapps/your@email.com/half-life

    check in the /valve/steam/steamapps/your@e-mail dir to see if there is the ns folder there instead of in the half-life folder <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    no i only c a halflife folder and a couterstrike folder no ns folder there...but if i click on the half life folder i can c my digital paintball folder...but there is no ns folder...<!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->..what does this mean...?





    i double click on ns_install_v3 i click next...its installing into this
    c:\program files\steam\steamapps\irish_bar\half-life
    irish_bar is my name thingy
    i click next and i get a thingy telling me that the file already exists do i want to overwrite it i click yes...it installs i goto check my steam list to click on it to play it and its not there... anything im doing wrong?
