    I use a notebook as my primary computer and I do not have any trouble playing NS on it. I even use it for compiling maps.

    i wouldn't be suprised if a sizable portion (like over 15%) of gammers play on labtops

    there is nothing special about it, heck i play on a labtop too

    whats the diffrence??? as long as the computer can handle the game your set, and if your computer can't handle ns then its time to get a new one

    I used an xbox controller once, was fine for everything except aiming, oh and the jetpack was quite difficult to control.

    Worked surprisingly well with aliens.

    I was just especially proud of how I dominated today. Then I thought, "I'm on a laptop with 60max fps and a wireless connection." Then I thought to myself "Some of these people I've been owning all day are on 21 inch monitors getting 99 fps with their desktops and hardline broadband connections."

    So I'm proud of myself. Yeah. I said it.


    I miss the desktop though. It was a lot easier to dominate on a regular basis with it.

    14" screen
    60hz max refresh
    1024*768 max resolution
    poor sound
    wireless connection


    So...yeah, when I play against people getting 99fps with no vsync, surround sound, and probably 19" or larger screens at 1600*1200 resolution, and hardwired broadband I feel at somewhat of a disadvantage.

    Most of my time is spent on servers other than FAT anyways.

    Well I play with a wireless connection, with a FPS that jumps from 80 to 30 (mainly being 30FPS) and I do pretty damn well I think considering.

    Thing is, I'm running on a desktop computer with a Radeon 9800 Pro, 1gb of ram, and Athlon 64 3200+
