This is the 1.01 patch for BF2 with numerous bugfixes. I'm getting 600Kbps on the torrent I linked to. Enjoy! ^^
Alright, here is a partial changelog:

I can't verify that this works, as I had no problem installing the patch.

What's the console command to show FPS? I tried a couple of servers, and it was very jittery for some reason.

I'm lovin the updated server browser; all it needs is a favorite servers list and it would be perfect. ^_^

Okay, I've managed to find the problem: Never, ever, under any circumstances, touch the "Update Server List" button. It may not want to ever refresh again. Just press refresh, it'll update the list on it's own.

well ranked servers (execpt 64 slots ouch) never lagged for me
it definatly improves the server list menu
the server browser works faster, yes, but now it's not finding any servers with pings less than 75, and connecting to ANY server, including the official EA ones, tells me my game is an incompatible version.

Ranked 64 player servers don't lag ping wise, but once you're ingame they lag, hard.
well that wont really work whewn you concider that none ranked 64 slots servers dont lag
Nonono, you see, their fine FPS wise, but they lag people wise. People freeze while you're still able to turn. I know what the difference is between low FPS and lag- I've been tweaking BF2 for days.
Ranked 64 player servers = lagfest
Unranked 64 player servers = pwnfest
less than 64 players = what's the point?
