<div class="IPBDescription">an ebay experience I had</div> <a href='http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=lzm5000&items=25&page=1&frompage=-1&iid=5783642494&de=off' target='_blank'>http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...83642494&de=off</a>

Its about this seller. I had won a phone off him a week ago. He seemed legit and all and my instinct said it should be ok. I won the item and got an email from him stating that he will send the item the following day.

Been a week now and nothing after numerous emails to him to ask what is going on. Then all of a sudden in just one day I see that the seller gets like 10+ negative feedback all about the same thing, paid for the item but never received.

What makes it so weird is that before this, the seller checks out ok and all. Registered a year ago, been selling the same sort of thing and had a good number of positive feedbacks. Info all checked out ok as well. But now he is gone down rotten. Doesn't seem like a hacked account as even his personal phone number gone to voice answering box and no replies from emails. The only logical reasoning is that he just kept selling then one day decided to get out with a bang by conning everyone.

Well when the guy is selling like he is, it should be like a major part of his life. BUt still yeh that the other probability that he got involved in some major accident. But I can never know. So just got to file the usual claim with Paypal and see how it goes.

It seems a little fishy, but a similar thing has happened to me, only I was not able to pay at all. As soon as that started, there were numerous people leaving negative feedback saying that the person didn't respond and no one could pay. Kinda makes you wonder what is going through people's minds.

I'm leaning towards the theory that he died. Either he got into an accident or was murdered by his first enraged buyer.

I was on the scamming end of an e-bay scam once -_- but it wasn't my fault. an ex-friend said she wanted to sell some crap on e-bay. she had no digital camera for photographing her stuff and no home computer at the time either... so I said sure, I'd help her... and I made the mistake of just letting her use my account. she sold a buncha crap, and didn't ship half of it, and what she did ship she shipped late... and all the e-mails and phone calls and negative feedbacks were coming to ME... and I can't really ever use e-bay again... I don't think she necessarily meant to scam people, she was just a ditz and didn't keep track of everything she was supposed to. needless to say I don't talk to her anymore.

anyway, just a story to show you that anything could happen on the other side <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
