No, you were useless. The plural for computer mouse is mouses.

As for having multiple mouses on a computer, I can't see it being a problem. I use a mouse, a trackball, and a graphics tablet all on one computer with no issues.

OK GUYS THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWERS

My mx1000 sometimes stalls for a second in which my mx510 doesnt NOW please answer my question
  • Leaderz0rzLeaderz0rz Join Date: 2002-11-09 Member: 7847Members
my mx1000 never stalls, and i use it for everything. and to answer your question, yes you can. I think logitech you can make profiles for each device..so you would probably just switch profiles before playing a game. but honestly you should be using the mx1000 for everything, if it stalls then there is somthing wrong.

    Fixed.

Well, I stole the mouse from the family computer (Logitech iFeel MouseMan (Optical)) and hooked it up to my compy (oh my dear Panzermensch, I love you so) which already had a Logitech Mx 310 connected, and I could use both simultaneously without any problems. What is your particular problem? Have you even TRIED connecting them both, for that matter?
  • kuperayekuperaye Join Date: 2003-03-14 Member: 14519Members, Constellation
yes i have but the sensitivity of my 510 is MUCH MUCH MUCH lower than that of my 1000 that im use to for ages
  • lolfighterlolfighter Snark, Dire Join Date: 2003-04-20 Member: 15693Members
Well, let's see. Open Logitech Mouseware. Go to the "Devices" tab. You get a dropdown menu that contains your connected mice, and above it it says the following:
"Use the selection box below to choose a device to work on. Any new changes will be saved for the selected device."
I guess you can simply use Mouseware to select a different sensitivity for each mouse. You may have to use the dropdown menu to switch back and forth between your settings as you alternate between the mice, though.

    Any help?

You'll have to answer that question yourself, since I don't have an Mx1000 (thank God) and nobody else seems to be willing to speak up. Again, have you tried doing so?
