To Blueman and mirrodin: Yes, the rooms are a bit "cramped", i had too much cristicism about that for ns_agora so that's why i've decided to take more attention to the rooms's proportions...But i think that i'm still going to make 1 or 2 huge rooms for jp and lerks later (correct english?)
To HanzGrub3r: There is only 1 texture from... Alien 4 (ripped from the movie :o )... So there is certainly a copyright problem here...But as Bast used textures from Alien 1 there must be a possibility to have the authorisation or something (i hope).
To BulletHead: The papers are groupped in func_illusionary (each paper= 1 wpoly , because of the "null" texture).
To Spacer: The papers's textures are from the HL.wad (that's what u wanted to know?)
To everybody: It Seems that there is a little problem with the green text...no? :p
To Hanzgruber again: The texture for the location's names wasn't final at all but thanks for the typo and interlacing's help :) (i didnt know how to do that interlacing's thing).

Kawak, The Purple Monkey Dishwashers are shocked to learn Bast has a texture from Alien 1.
A few things that this monkey have learned about Twentieth Century Fox:
1. They don't lend their artistic, intellectual or actual property to anyone. 2. They have killed entire mods before because of copyright infringements. 3. They have more money and so therefore legally they are right 4. The Alien's Saga has it's own games which = bad news for anyone that tries to a) Mimic concepts from the movie b) Borrow concepts from the movie c) Borrow property from the movie (i.e screenshots of textures) 5. The movie industry has had (and does have) spies in the gaming communities before to find people who are infringing copyright laws. (i.e. the nakatomi plaza mod, spiderman mod, aliens mod, star gate mod, and countless more that have been extinguished very quickly.)
Ultimately, this Purple Monkey is not trying to tell you what to do. But he is saying this:
1) A map with illegally obtained material can never go official in a mod - it would give Fox the power to sue the makers Natural-Selection as well as the mapper that stole the copyrighted material. 2) It's just not cool to plagerise. Be inspired by the film and make your own textures - hell, they can be similar - just don't steal em. If you can't make your own textures - use the artwork portion of this forum to make a request for a texture.
I didn't steal it, there is no texture in a movie... so i had to do it (deleted the characters, removed stuff...etc.. and align the texture correctly cause of the perspective).
I dont think that it's completely Illegal/Forbidden...(well maybe yes), but i just give it a try (and Natural Selection is still a free game and has its own design/universe so it can't be compared to spiderman mod, aliens mod, star gate mod..etc..).

This is really nice! I love the hallway in the first and fourth shots. The sat comm center area is really nice too. The only thing that stood out to me is that it maybe could use some deeper contrast in the lighting. I wouldn't go overboard, but some darker shadows might look really nice in there.

Just got an idea! You and Nay should collaborate on this, and combine the interior areas you've designed with that sweet sexy outdoor area he designed. That would make for a killer sweet **** map.

Really great lighting, solid brushwork. The best looking ns map i have EVER seen. Why?....because it looks real. Tbh port it to source just because kawack might come back.

Copy of the text layered on top with a slight gaussian blur.
