there is times i join a server that majority of the ppl on there dont use/have mikes.
so they chat in loooong text and it getts in the way where i cannot see what im doing other than aiming and missing <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I remeber seeing a font made for low res gamers. If your card is good, consider increasing your resolution, for search custom forum for that font...

    its pretty good, geforce 4, i only have it at 800 by 6?? so it wouldnt take so long to get to my desktop. even if they were both at the same res, 800 by 6?? or 1??? by 7??, it still takes too long.
    the only reasone i think the prob is that i got some kind of mirror thing on my hard drive and taking up a big chunk, but i dout thats it tho.

    Uh.... You should not be using 800x600 with a geforce 4....

    Step it up in video options, text will look normal.

    Also, to maintain a good fps....

    Put AA to 2x/off, ANis to 2x/off, and vsync off, and type fps_max 101 in console.

    You can later them through control panel >> display >> settings, advanced set them to off.


    Also if you want to juice up your game speed lower the colour depth to 16 rather than 32, in the NS video options. You may find that alt+tab will work fine on higher resolutions then

    i did the stupidest thing with the font size things for the rsalution difference.
    I put in the one for 800 then for got i did when i loaded the game and then i set the res to 1024 and then i couldnt read a darn thing very well lol. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
