    I think there's a difference - midgits are just small people, but a dwarf has disproportionate limbs. I can't remember exactly, though.

    its the reverse, midgets are people with growth problem, dwarfs are a smaller race

    Yes, midgits are just small people. Calling someone a midgit is usually an insult. A dwarf has disproportionate limbs. It's due to some sort of deficiency - a hormone problem, or something similar.
