Mostly, preceeding 2.0's debut, and a little while after... I stopped posting out of having more important things to do, and I haven't played NS as much because it doesn't possess the zest it once had.(This is more the community's fault than the game's fault. Playing with a bunch of unfriendly people, and idiots isn't exactly how NS should be appreciated)
Anyways, what I want to say is, back then, there weren't hundreds of posts without punctuation. I mean, most of the posts here are posted just for the sake of posting them, not for the sake of communicating. If you want to say something make sure it's something that would get you higher than a 20% in a fifth grade English class.
There weren't as many ideas posted that had no real thought put into them. I mean sure, an idea that sounds cool might be nice to share with other nsers, but if it would COMPLETELY CHANGE AND UNBALANCE THE GAME it shouldn't be posted(unless you actually thought about what to do to rebalance it(which you probably haven't since you can't even pass fifth grade english)).
When people didn't like an idea they would explain why, instead of posting a one word reply. Unpopular ideas get more attention than good ideas simply because it takes less mental energy to write a crap reply. Way to go Mr. "I love NS and my post count proves it". The only thing you proved is how much you suck. Your posts are sooooo much more enlightening than someone who possesses the trait of creativity. Even if an idea sucks, or as I mentioned above, had no thought put into it, take time to make sure you're reply is equal or at least better. You don't want to drown in your own pool of irony, do you?
Well, I hope most of you do drown, and you know who you are. Then maybe the devs will take these forums seriously, and maybe the mods won't lock and censor everything.

I think what CWAC is getting is that even if you can type, spell and put those stupid symbol thingys in the right place. It still doesn't mean your talking out of your arse.

I'm just looking out for you guys. The majority of you are in school, getting ready for the real world. Whether you go to college, or just start working, you should realize that someone who writes and speaks proper english will be a much more desirable asset to whatever you want to be an asset of. This rule only applies in english speaking countries, of course.
Now, imagine being someone looking for a great new idea to jazz up their hottest new game...

I have the questionable priviledge to be perioducally subjected to people that make the worst members of this community look like intellectual pillars. At least these ones are capable of accessing a web site and reading (at least enough to find the "Add Reply" button). I really hope you have *no* idea...
I rather suspect both the mods and the civilans around here would love an improvement in the signal to noise ratio. Would not count on it though. For that to happen I would have to stop contributing.
