  heapsize for clients allocates more memory to the game. I'm not sure if it's the same for server side or not

  i think the only time you'd need to use heapsize is if you had 128 megs of ram or less (Which when Halflife came out...a lot of "top-of-the-line" systems only had 64 megs of ram or 128 at the most). Like now I don't use it because I have 512 megs of ram. no need to allocate more memory.

  I put -heapsize 130000 in the command line when I started just to see if it will help. Nothing conclusive yet.
