Locks Up On Map Change

<div class="IPBDescription">at parsing game info</div> this is annoying i have reinstalled steam and ns to no avail this only happens when i load
a second map the only way to stop it is to exit ns alltogether go back in and rejoin

my specs are
Os: win xp serve pack 2 installed
cpu: Pentium 4 2.8 ghz
video card: radeon x700 pro
soundcard: soundblaster audigy

i dont have any clue why this happens so help would be appreciated also

also i figure id hit two birds with one stone and ask is there any commands to make ns look any better?

    Making NS look better:

    - Increase your screen resolution.
    - Download and install some high-res models (players, structures, weapons, etc.). Be careful which ones you get though because some don't have the models the right shape for the hitboxes.
    - See if your GFX card has a menu where you can change certain settings before you run a game to make it teh purt!

    There are probably a few console commands in there that can be tweaked, but tbh I like NS the way it is.

    Is this problem occuring when hosting a server, or connecting to one?

    Check system for viruses, etc as well. Just a single nasty in there can seriously **** anything up

    both if i am hosting and i goto the next map it locks up if i join a server and they mapchange it locks up it happens everytime and always at this parsing game info crap
    it happens to other people as well some other guy posted the same problem
    Edit : XFAWKtor has the exact same problem and dont tell me oh jsut escape and then go back in the game that is extremely annoying i would actually like to fix this problem not use some stupid way of exiting and rejoining as a fix
