Ec Vs Tau Match...

<div class="IPBDescription">Where can I find this?...</div> Is there a place that I can download this match to watch it? I've been hearing many good things about it, and would be very interested in watching an actual clan NS match.

The best two ways I can think of are either an avi (very large, and no switching points of view) or a saved demo file that I could replay...

    I had to pull it because we went way over our bandwidth this month. It will be back when someone can mirror it. I'd like to see a replay repository, but no one seems to have started one.

    You could try going on IRC and ASKING for the demo in #tau

    but then that would be too hard for you when you can come here and have someone else do the research for you....

    Whoa, down boy! What's wrong with asking here? The *vast* majority of EC players are regulars on the board (like me), and I personally have no problem posting a quick link for him since I know where it is. Try to be a little more helpful, eh?

    My school blocks most ports during the day but there is no bandwidth limit. Kind of stupid if you ask me but I'm not the admin. Edit: yes in my case school means university.

    TAU is a CS clan that played EC (a NS clan) and Flayra recorded a nice pair of demos that demonstrate good clan strats (mostly on ECs behalf, who, I may say, are frickin amazing). There are a couple of other demos in the post linked above but they're not available now because Flayra says he went over his bandwidth.     The file in question is a demo from an NS match between Evolutionarily Challenged (NS's first ever clan), and some rabble of monkeys who call themselves TAU ( <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> ). Flayra has said it was the best NS match he has ever seen. I havnt watched it yet, so I wouldnt know, but I have been told its the bee's knees.

    It's an amazing game. Cyanide wins MVP of the YEAR or something for his commanding of the EC marines.

    Heheh Welp I've not seen it, but I guess ill start recording my comm games, Ive had a fe VERY exciting ones like:

    We started strong as marines, had 2 hives and thought the aliens were scre wed. I had 2 arms labs and proto so we had all the upgrades relatevley early I had 5 marines in HA walking around... well to make a long story short we somehow managed to lose one of the hives (marines were busy being glory hogs at the last alien hive, I was frantically trying to secure a fact and sige the bejesus out of it) then somehow as I got 3 sieges up 4 fades (wich was really crazy since they only took the second hive back 5 min prior) attacked the spawn. Welp the sige of the last alien hive finished while the CC was donw to the last few yellow bars of life, I had 32 resc, and was holding my breath, I dropped the CC in the newly captured hive like .5 second before they killed me, all the fades started using public talk to say "hahah we killed the CC and the Comm" welp we were quietly building INF portals (someone got into the newly bilt CC and dropped a portal THNK GOD) I respawned got back in the seat and we owned.. it was VERY cool... <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Thanks for the help everyone (Especially for the link, Coil!). I have just been eager to see a good solid clan NS match. I apologize to those I may have offended by not doing more background research in IRC...
