For a beginner, you're off to a good start. Try to work out your proportions and look at some anatomy references for starters to get on the right path to goodness. Also, study the head a bit more, concerning hair and how it should correctly come from the scalp, etc. Other than that, you're going fine. Just keep practising and stuff.

If you want to draw people, i'd start off with drawing actual real people to get the proportions right. Draw lots of people from pictures or studies until you can do it with your eyes closed.
LEARN TO DRAW BEFORE LEARNING TO DRAW MANGA.
Starting with drawing manga is one of the worst possible things you could do. Just draw people, plantpots, things like that before you try to stylise them. How can you start stripping away stripping away detail and streamlining the shapes if you can't draw them in the first place?
Far too many people just think HEY MANGA STYLE THEMS EASY RITE I CAN DRAW DEM WIT NO EFFORTS, when cartooning can be far more difficult than life drawing at some points.
Before you start drawing bodies, I higly suggest you look at some figure drawing tutorials, like this one. If you want to draw in an anime style, it's a good place to start since much of it comes down to a person's own style, but look to how others draw for general idea of how certain things work. Also, your heads could use some work, so more tutorials are called for.
Mainly, be sure to ask your friends who are good at drawing, or simply google more tutorials, and keep doing freehand work. ^^
Buy some art books. Anatomy, shading methods, ANY art books help. Then practise, then stick to a style you can work with comfortably.
EDIT : And on a note, drawing in a manga-like style is just about as valid as any form of art. As I've said earlier, if you can find a style that's comfortable for you, stick with it.

The proportions are non-existant, the pose is awful (Get a manakin, as someone else suggested), the linework is apalling and pretty much everything screams "amateur" about it.
I strongly suggest picking up a manakin to help a little with your posing and proportions, pick up some books on human life drawing, get a friend to pose for you for 15 minutes whilst you practice, keep drawing, keep practicing, and eventually, when you gain some technique and an eye for how a human should look THEN move onto working on manga style, or any other stylalised form of drawing.
Can't anyone find something good in a totally newbie drawing without concentrating on all the bad !, eh? ! sakes, if you can't find one good thing that's been done in a image then you are no more then a ! !.
I suggest that you draw the simple shapes over and over. draw a circle. then a square. then a triangle. All of which should start and end at one point on the page. Squiggle and sketch something - anything you want - from that point, but never taking your implement off the page. Do this several times each on a different sheet of paper. It would be good to try to keep a central idea, like putting a bunch of like-angled lines through the triangle, trying to keep them all parallel to the others.
Dont give a damn about what you drew on the previous page. Number it, pick it up, and throw it to the floor as is - or in a ball, whatever - so you wont be tempted to be influenced by whatever happened on that peice of paper. Once you've gone and done somewhere around 7 pages like this, pick the paper off the floor and compare them. Is your first drawing better then your seventh?
Move on to other objects. From a circle to a sphere which is shaded, square to cube that's also shaded, and so on. Pick your implement up rarely, and only on complex shapes. Once you put your pencil on the paper you'd better draw something. Focus and Visualize. Concentrate and tune out distractions. [Having references also helps, but study them only once, then put them away where you can't see them. This forces you to keep them in memory!]
I hate it when people jump to conclusions (in response to Grizzly)
Nowhere have I told him to draw in a manga-style or in realism style. Wether he does or not, that sure as hell is not my concern at all. All I care about is that if he's happy with his art, and that's it.
And seeing as wnn is a ZP modeller....well here's another small tip from me if you're gonna start up drawing again : Think modelling.
Unless you're the weapon modeller....oh wait you are.
DON'T STOP!!! KEEP DRAWING!!! PRACTISE MAKES PERFECT!!!

Even if you are beginning by drawing manga style, it is okay!!! It boils down ultimately to your passion! What you want! It boils down to your desire! Your feelings, your emotions! If you want to draw manga, THEN draw manga! Make it your habit, make it your hobby, make it your LIFE!!! Take no heed to the ones who are negatively calling you to stop! What is the use of drawing using a style that you have ABSOLUTELY no interest in?! What is the use of living a life you do not desire!
Remember buddy! It all boils down to your spirit! Your soul! Your heart! Now! *points towards horizen* Your target is there! Don't give up! While you are still young, and your heart is strong and willing! Draw! Keep drawing and drawing! If manga-style is your interest, then stick with it!
